MOONRISE OVER DESERT SANDS An early morning and first hint of sunrise over wind-rippled desert sands near Dubai lent a colourful foreground to this glorious moonrise seen here through the photographer’s lens, a breath of rare mistiness adding a little hazy mood and movement to the scene. At an earlier hour, the very same day, these dunes lent their magnificence to camels trekking to some other mysterious place. But that’s a different story for another picture.
